The Story Behind The Lucky Clover

The idea of The Lucky Clover has been growing in the mind of our "chief estate sale junkie" since she was just a small girl. Raised in a home full of beautiful antique furnitue, glassware and decorative pieces, Tanya developed a love for the story that each piece told early. Loving, "The thrill of the hunt," so to say, came from years of searching for the perfect piece at her mom's side, where weekends and summer afternoons would find the two of them scouring yard and estate sales, auctions and the occasional curb.

Later in life, when establishing her own home, Tanya was drawn back to her roots finding unique pieces wherever she could. Though sometimes, the best pieces required a lot of love, elbow grease and power tools to reimagine their former beauty.

Flash forward 20 years to early 2020 and a global pandemic. Like everyone worldwide, Tanya needed something to occupy her time, mind and hands. Starting with pieces that she already owned, she began to hone her craft, all the while learning from professionals and amateurs alike, across every social media platform. As restrictions lifted, Tanya was once again enthralled with the thrill of the hunt and finding the perfect piece to restore and reimagine. The three car garage at her home quickly found itself filled with treasures along with part of a pole barn at her mother-in-law's home and just like that, The Lucky Clover was born.
